I went MIA for a while, and haven't made a post in a long time! I apologize for it, and promise to make up for it! I have just reached a period in my life when things get too crazy (in a good way) and sometimes i think that airports are my second home. That said, i will be back with a new posts and updates for you soon! I love all of you and can't explain how much i appreciate your support! Thank you for following and reading!

Sweater weather

It is finally here! I can't be more excited for fall! All my favorite things have something to do with fall - vintage florals, cozy knits, school backpacks, cool oxfords!  And don't even get me started on pumpkin spice lattes here! Plus, i always take a mini vacation in September - October, take some time off to fly to my home-country to see my friends and family. The "sweater weather" (aka the perfect weather) we are experiencing now just makes me so happy for some reason! It never gets old.

Celebration Shoes

First of all i want to apologize to my lovely readers for the lack of posts lately. I hurt my knee a few weeks ago, and it's been a challenge to wear anything but jean cut-offs and Converse sneakers. Now things are getting better and i can even drive myself to places and it doesn't take me an hour to get down or up stairs anymore! So to celebrate my come-back-to-life even i decided to get myself a new pair of heels. And you can probably tell those hot pink BCBGeneration babies are truly the Celebration Shoes! My poor boyfriend was very brave and kind changing my band-aids and buying me chocolate and other gifts all this time too. This wonderful antique silver bracelet i'm wearing was one of them. I can tell you, sometimes to be injured is not all bad. But i do like myself smily, happy and healthy again better! Btw, Happy September to everyone! I hope i'm not the only one who is beyond excited about sweater season! I'll be posting about my favorite fall trends and things to wear very soon! For now, i hope everyone gets to enjoy the long weekend we got! xo

Good Morning!

I saw this editorial from The Voracity magazine on Buro24/7 web site, and fell in love with the images and the mood that this "early morning" photo shoot creates. Model Aine O'Gorman photographed by Anna Williams is beautiful without make up on and in her night slips. I'm going to have the next few days off (with a little breaks for work from my couch), and i'm going to take some quality time for myself - wake up early, eat healthy breakfast, read poems by Joseph Brodsky and enjoy sun in the morning!

Hat's on!

Often when i help people to find the right accessories for their outfits, i suggest "Wear a hat!" for an instant look change! And even though i do give away tips about how to wear hats to my customers all the time, i don't get to my own collection of hats too often which is unfortunate! The past weekend i decided to play with one of the hats that i just got from Dannah. And since i was staying in the city, i figured i still needed to dress it up. That's why there is a plain tunic dress (the most comfortable thing ever!) and some "diamonds" along with satin shoes involved!

Flower Crown Obsession

I rarely share my work stuff in here, but this last photo shoot i did reflects my mood and style aesthetic so well, that i have to post a few images from it. I've been dreaming about incorporating flower crowns into the looks i style for a very long time. And after my sketches and ideas got approved, i got to work. Making this flower crown was so much fun, and i'm very happy that my beautiful model Shea liked it on her too. Shooting in the rural location with a thought of Frida Kahlo as my style muse made it for a very pleasant work day! I still have the flower crown, it sits in the back of my car and calls me to use it again. And i can't wait!

Styled and photographed by me. The model is wearing American Apparel dress and all Dannah jewelry.

A Treasure Place Called Dannah

A few posts ago i said that i would post pictures from the store where i work. Dannah in Kennebunkport, Maine is a place for treasure seekers like me. For the most part, all my jewelry and some of the bags come from the store. I'm so happy that i can collaborate and be involved in a design process in the store as well. There are lots of unknown designers mixed with some vintage and "happy" bracelets and necklaces from Orna Lalo - Israel  based jewelry designer whose products you can only find in her flagship store in Boston and random small boutiques of  New York. Don't even get me started on beauty products and a small, but quiet unique home decor collection. You can visit our website here or if you are ever around, stop by and have a glass of wine while browsing the store.

Latest Jewelry Finds and Giveaway Winner

Things have been a little bit crazy lately. In between travels, work projects and boyfriend being sick (cold in the middle of the summer??!!) i have forgotten i have a blog and i have to write it every once in a while. Although i did not forget to pick the winner of the giveaway that has been going on for a week on my blog. Thank you very much to everyone who joined in and left sweet comments. Danielle from happy.ppl  is the lucky one who's got the summer straw clutch from Dannah boutique shipped her way! Congratulations and thanks again for participating! Other than that, i've been on a constant hunt for a perfect piece of jewelry, and i found one (or maybe a couple). This necklace (also from Dannah) looks like it could have been made in a candy shop. It also jingles when i walk, and that's the best part of it!

Did these rings belong to someone from 19th century? I wear them with jeans and plain T-shirt!

Love bracelet! I like the chain part of it.

Bright enamel mixed with light color crystals must be my favorite things in a jewelry design at the moment. It's like wearing neon jeans with white lace top - always appropriate)

Wearing: all jewelry - Dannah.
